abstractmultiple sclerosis (ms) is a chronic disease of central nervous system with destroying the myelin sheath and accompanied by disorder in nervous conduction the purpse of this research was to study the effect of 8 weeks aquatic aerobic training on speed of walking and expanded disability statues scale (edss) in women with multiple sclerosis.this study was a semi-exprimental and applied research.30 women with ms with expanded disability statues scale (edss)2 to 5.5 and r-r (relapsing-remitting) form of disease and age 20 to 40years participated in this study and were randomly matched in to two groups: exprimental group(n=15) and control group(n=15).training protocol lasted 8 weeks, three session per weeks (24 session ),40-60 minutes, with the maximum hurt rate. speed of walking and edss was measured before and after the protocol by 10-m time test and edss test(by a neurologist)for data analysis,dependent and independen t test were used.the result of this study indicated that there were , significant differences between edss and speed of walking exprimental and control groups(p
